That sentence is the whole idea. Cafe 295 lives on the 7th floor of 295 The West Mall in Etobicoke, inside the Jilani Place coworking space, and it was built so that neither half is a compromise: a real specialty coffee shop, inside a real workspace, each one better because of the other.
Step off the elevator and you will see what we mean. Greenery hangs over a white marble bar under a wood slat ceiling, globe pendants glow over the espresso machine, and a dark botanical wall of owls and mushrooms runs the length of the room. Floor to ceiling windows look out over the city. It is a room made for staying a while, whether that means a laptop and a deadline or a long catch up over matcha.
